What I Learned From My First Marriage
And how it made me a better husband for my second. (Guest post by my hubby!)
Most of you probably know, but for those that don’t, my husband is a very talented writer. Besides co-managing our martial arts school and teaching, that is what he does all day.
Recently he wrote a piece for AARP’s online publication called The Arrow, sharing lessons he took from his first marriage and how it makes him a better husband in ours. This is also my second marriage, and I definitely understand the experience. Jay shares some pieces of wisdom that I just had to pass along. I’m sure they will resonate with many of us.
If you have endured a similar situation, I hope you have come out stronger on the other side and know that true love and happiness do exist. More importantly, I hope you know that you deserve it! And if you are in a challenging marriage now, maybe these insights will help you find a better way forward.
