Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai & More on the North Shore!

To get right to it, we’re excited to announce that we’re opening a second school in my (Jen’s) home town of Highland Park, Illinois. Getting home to Chicago’s North Shore has been on our radar for awhile, and things have lined up beautifully, making now an ideal time to make things happen. We’ll continue to own and operate Capital Mma & Elite Fitness - Team Takoma , our school in Takoma Park, MD, and make the transition back to Highland Park in the months ahead.

Our new school, True Style Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness , aims to offer everything Takoma does: Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling and Self Defense for adults and kids, along with access to functional fitness and personal training. Look for the doors to open informally in August and a grand opening after the new year.

Needless to say, we’re excited about this next step, are grateful for all the support from family, friends, and teammates, and look forward to creating the same kind of scene in Highland Park that we have in Takoma Park: Good vibes, good people, good training!
